One outgrowth of the first International Assembly on Managing the Psychology of Fear and Terror was the creation of a documentary designed to express the findings of the assembly. Beyond Fear: Finding Hope in the Horror is a documentary film that uses interviews with survivors of terrorism, psychologists and others working in the field of trauma research, and attendees at the International Assembly to explore the psychological consequences of severe trauma and how individuals and organizations can respond to these consequences. Beyond Fear is available in 54 minute and 20 minute versions. It is also available in PAL and NTSC formats. If you are interested in hosting a screening of Beyond Fear please contact Psychology Beyond Borders.
